Multimedia -  using images, sounds and animation.

Multimedia can be used in many places. The Introduction and closing pages, Chapter and Section headings and many question types.

When multimedia is available you will see a small button with a symbol that looks like the ringed planet, Saturn.

First prepare your multimedia element in one of the permitted formats. Then click on the button and you will get the multimedia loading screen. Use the navigator to find the file on your own system and add any positioning information. Finally click on the <End Customisation> button. You will see an acknowledgement that the file has been uploaded. Now test your question.

 Things to think about

Many people have pop up blockers these days, try to avoid using one.

Choose the size of your picture, movie or Flash to suit people's display screen's resolution.
